SEO Capabilities - Real Life Results Using Only
XsitePro
I must admit to feeling a little skeptical
about the SEO capabilities of XsitePro before I bought it. My
understanding at the time was that you either needed to commission
an SEO expert to 'tweak' your site, or you spent a lot of money on
different software to assist. So I was pleasantly surprised
to find that the SEO built in to XsitePro actually works!
Once you start using XsitePro, you find that,
as the working area is well laid out and easy to navigate, doing
'chores' like making sure you have added alt text to your images,
got the correct density for your keywords and made sure your
description contains the terms you want come as almost second
nature.
My real life example of success is this very
site. Let me make this clear from the offset - I am not an
SEO copy writer or a web design expert, so any results I have
achieved have been as a direct result of the guidance given
within XsitePro.
There are several ways to get at the gems of SEO
advice XsitePro offers. The most obvious is a tab labelled
"SEO". Within this tab, you can select which of your keywords
you want to target with the page, and it will advise you of areas
needing attention by highlighting them in red, and suggesting a
course of action. The second way of getting at this
information is from the Reports menu, and selecting "To Do
List".
Below is a screenshot of the SEO segment of
the "To Do List" report generated after I *thought* I had
completed my page:

As you can see, there were six items needing
attention - five of them "critical". I diligently followed
the guidance from this report, and in less than a month from first
publishing the site, here are screenshots showing Google results
for "Xsite Pro" and "XsitePro":

Wow! Fifth place on page 1 out of over 173,000
results - and results 1 and 2 are pages within XsitePro's own
website

And page 3 for the term "XsitePro" - still not
bad for a first attempt
The above was achieved with very little input from
me. I did publish a couple of my articles about XsitePro in
two of the better known article directories to help get a little
natural traffic, but I am certain that it is XsitePro which has
helped get the positioning in the search results. After all,
sometimes it can be the little things we overlook which can make
all the difference.
