An Overview of the XsitePro Manual

I have also recorded a video overview of the XsitePro manual

In addition to the comprehensive help files built in to XsitePro, the software comes with both a pdf manual and tutorial ebook.

Even at over 400 pages, the XsitePro manual is an easy read.  It is broken down into nine logical sections, with guidance and explanations targeted to both beginners and novices.  The body text is supported where necessary by images, which is one area where I spotted the attention to detail and quality of the XsitePro manual.  Rather than just insert as-is screen grabs, they have gone that little bit further with the presentation by adding drop shadows to help the images stand out.  This immediately made me think that if they are prepared to go to such detail with the manual, it is highly likely they paid the same attention to detail when creating the XsitePro software itself.

The XsitePro manual is laid out more-or-less in the stages you would take when starting a project from scratch and gradually takes you through to the more advanced features towards the end.  The publishers begin by explaining the thinking behind XsitePro (aptly named "the Phsycology Behind XsitePro") and the gap they aimed to fill, followed by an overview of putting a web site together.

You are then talked through how to create your first project, how to add a site to that project and how to add and format pages within the site.  The XsitePro manual then goes into more detail about specific features such as customising the layout and adding page information and creating pop-ups.  Rather than just telling you how it is done, you are given detailed background  about why it is done a certain way (21 pages are dedicated to "page layout", showing each element of the traditional layout options and their importance for search engine optimisation).

Each of the advanced features are explained in detail, and I found that the XsitePro manual covers features of the software which are not advertised in any of the promotional sales material, such as the array of tokens that can be used to pre-customise an existing site which is being imported from another source.  There is not a feature within XsitePro that I would have any difficulty using thanks to the manual.  I have had a copy professionally printed and bound so that I have it on hand.

For those who wish to dabble in affiliate marketing, the XsitePro manual also provides a good overview of the principles of affiliate marketing and offers advice about building niche sites (I have paid for reports that contain less information about affiliate marketing than is contained in the XsitePro manual!)
